SOCIB researchers present at EGU Vienna 2017

An important representation of SOCIB and IMEDEA (CSIC-UIB) researchers participated in the European Geosciences Union 2017 Assembly held in Vienna (Austria), April 8th-13th. Presentations focused on the present status, advances and scientific results from SOCIB multi-platform approach, the activities from different SOCIB Facilities, including among others, data centre, gliders, HF radar, and modelling, and the specific advances in operational capabilities.

The EGU General Assembly 2017 was again a great success with 4,849 oral, 11,312 poster, and 1,238 PICO presentations. At the conference participated  14,496 scientists from 107 countries.
